Department Overview

The Agriculture Engineering Department (AED) in Tamil Nadu, India, is dedicated to advancing agricultural practices through innovative engineering solutions. It focuses on enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of farming by integrating modern technology and engineering principles. Key areas of research and development include soil and water conservation, farm machinery, and post-harvest technology.

Challenges Faced

The traditional method of booking agricultural machinery presented several challenges

  • icon Communication gaps: Delayed updates on booking and availability.
  • icon Lack of information: Farmers unaware of available machinery.
  • icon Inconvenient booking: Personal visits to AED offices required.
  • icon Uncertain allotment: Manual process led to delays

Approach and technical info

Our team worked for 3 months on this project, providing the expertise of 1 project manager, 1 business analyst/QA, 2 senior API developers, and 2 frontend developers to ensure the successful development and implementation of the solution.

Xenovex employed a robust tech stack for e-Vaadagai: .NET for backend development, Angular for a dynamic frontend, and PostgreSQL for efficient data management. The mobile app leverages Angular's cross-platform capabilities, while RDLC is used for generating rich, interactive reports. Altogether, this ensures a scalable, user-friendly solution.
